夢が、また一つ叶いました。
モスクワで写真展をやらせてもらったのは、もう7年前。
いつかは私の国なんかでも出来たらいいな、と思いつつ。
さて、お話を頂いたのは昨年の暮れもせまった頃。
表参道ヒルズのカフェで、マネージャーと一緒にお話を聞いた時、
ただただ吃驚しました。
あの日思い描いてた「いつか」が「今」になったのだ、と。
大好きな私のホームタウン、原宿、そして
表参道ヒルズで写真展、やることになりました。
今まで撮りためてきたもの、
撮り下ろし、
そして好評いただいている
「Do you remember?」シリーズも
全てすべて、凝縮されています。

日本を代表するストリートスタイルフォトグラファー、シトウレイの、
国内初となる大規模写真展を開催します。
本企画にあわせて撮り下ろしをした表参道に縁のある
各界で活躍中の著名人17名の作品と、
これまでにシトウレイが撮影したアーカイブ作品を合わせて
合計約150点の作品を展示。
表参道エリアで撮影したファッションフォトとテキストからは、
そのときそこにいた人々のリアルな姿を感じとることができます。
表参道の変わるものと変わらないものを、
ストリートから感じてきたシトウレイだからこそ紡げる
ファッションのストーリーをお楽しみください。

Rei Shito Photo Exhibition
Omotesando and me : The Past 10 Years And The Next
Rei Shito’s photo exhibition “Omotesando and me : The Past 10 Years And The Next”
will be held from Jan 13 (Wed) to Feb 29 (Mon) 2016,
using the temporary enclosures covering some of the shops under renovation,
as gallery walls.
This will be the first exhibition in this scale in Japan,
of Rei Shito, a leading street-style fashion photographer.
About 150 photos will be on display,
including 17 newly shot for this exhibition,
of the celebrities who have strong ties to Omotesando.
Fashion photos all taken in Omotesando area,
and the text accompanying them cut out “the moment in time” of the area.
This is Rei’s attempt to tell the story of changing/unchanging fashion,
from the viewpoint of someone who has witnessed the past,
and feels the future, of the street.

Rei Shito (STYLE from TOKYO photographer)
Street-style fashion photographer. Contributes to a fashion Web magazine
“STYLE from TOKYO（http://reishito.com）”,
and various other media including magazines and newspaper.
Takes snap photos on the street around the world.
Her broad insights on fashion allows her activities to span widely,
from corporate consultation, to fashion seminars.
